So I'm coming home from that realy big party where I had lots of fun and I'm still sort of drunk.
A couple 100 meters from my flat the street is blocked by the pölice and there is debis all around the crossing. Two cars crashed into each other and a 21 year old guy died tonight. Why?

Again, WHY?
Please, as you're all sort a friends, drive carefully, stay sober and fall in love with nice girls!

Socke, it is sad those people lost their lives. There was a pretty bad accident out the front of my house last Wednesday afternoon and I heard it happen. I am a trained first aider so I went out to offer assitance. One guy was trapped in his car and the other was concussed (he copped a face full of air bag). I stayed with the guy in the car who was trapped (he was T-Boned by the other guy (in a Mercedes) in the drivers side door. When the ambulance arrived I gave the details of what the driver had told me, and stayed to see if I could be of any more assistance. Then this cop came over and asked if I had to be there. I explained that I was a member of the SES (volunteer rescue organisation) but he didn't want to know and he told me to move away, which I did. When the rescue truck arrived with the gear to cut the driver out, I decided to go get my camera (300D) to get some shots of the guys in action. As I was approaching with the camera, the cop who had spoken to me before came up to me and told me to put the camera away. I put the lens cap back on and told him it was switched off. He then told me that I had to take it home, which I did. I then went back to watch the extraction. The cop then came up to me a third time and got in my afce and told me that if I were to cross the road again (the road was completely blocked so there were no cars to worry about) he would arrest me for hindering a police investigation. I had complied with everything he had asked me to do, and then he kept at me. To say I was pi$$ed off is putting it lightly. I am thinking of making a formal complaint against the cop. He was so rude and arrogant. This is the first time I have ever been stopped from taking any photograhs anywhere.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but i needed the rant.

Heath,
I know nothing of the laws in your land; however, I doubt that you could have been prevented from filming the rescue from a remote area. How does the press cover these events in Australia? Some one must take photos for the media? I encourage you to complaint to the public relations or whomever in the police department. Additionally, this story would make it to the press.
