What an extremely helpful response 🙄 Honestly, if you have nothing substantive to ad then why respond at all, especially when you come off as condescending to boot?
To the OP: Imho, contact Zeiss directly and I'm sure they will try to help. I'm sure it won't completely make up for what you've had to endure but at least you can attain some sort of closure. Good luck.
