I did it. I dislike blogs in most cases. out of reasons. but I now I did it and made myself a street photography blog trying to focus on the 'good' stuff, if there is any, and of course on street photography or my idea of street photography.
pretty much everything taken with my leicas! (except for that one xpan shot 😀 )

so if you like my stuff but eventually get bored by my hardcore flooding on flickr, dislike my selection and presentation on deviantart or do not care about anything else but street photography...

thanks for your feedback and interest or even the smallest kind of attention!

Good work.

This little 'homage' made me chuckle

I want to go out and take one like it for my gallery.
In fact I think we all should! 😀

Very nice. Something that always helps me, and maybe others, to to hear what the photographer was seeing, what caught the eye, circumstances around the shot, etc. Maybe your next step could be adding some of that sort of info to your pictures. Thanks

Very nice blog, indeed. Hope you're well down there in Switzerland. 😉

I'm fine, thank you! as I said, the light down here is awesome, how can I ask for more =)

nice blog Simon, subscribed to the RSS. And, no, you are not flooding flickr. Those are great images.

Your blog reminds me very much of another of my favourites: http://zeitgeistler.wordpress.com/

that one looks interesting indeed!

that would be a cool project. everybody take anonymous-man-jumping-over-puddle-photos! can someone make a thread? 😀

I wanted to keep the 'blog' as pure as possible, no gear talk, no excuses, just pictures. BUT (!) if you click on any of the pictures it will open on flickr where there's further information below and in the tags of course. if you have specific questions about any of the photos, you always ask me and I'll gladly respond!

thank you all for your kind words and feedback! I wasn't too sure about this whole thing, I feel a lot better about it now =)

thanks again everybody, I just updated the blog yesterday or so with more shots from where I live now in Switzerland!
but there's even more barcelona stuff coming up =)

all good pictures, my preference goes to Barcelona 112 ! subject and composition make the photo.
robert

that is one of my personal favourites too. and there's something beautiful about the tones imho.

A lot of nice stuff and a couple of very awesome shots. I guess everyone knows which ones I mean, since one of them was already posted here. That reminds me of that one legendary HCB shot.

I subscribed to the RSS feed, see that's the thing about blogs that makes them so useful. 🙂
