Not with mine... I use it at 3200 all the time and even at 6400 at times. All usable with no bands.
It could be a quality control issue with X100 cameras. It still would be "an issue" with this camera.

The banding may be temperature related (of the sensor). You can possibly see the temp if you dig deeply into exif metadata with something like exiftool.

Are you sure it's not a rebranded M8? Much of RFF is confident that only Leica ever gets things wrong...

No banding here but I only shoot RAW up to ISO 1600. I increase exposure and/or fill in LR 3 when higher ISO is required.
