This M4 makes me drool.. for some reason

with a new top plate and what looks like new leather covers, this will never go for $3000.

so, basically, wait for the seller to lower the price, then score!
 
The black paint finish on this baby is what I hoped the new MP would look like but alas this is not the case. The new MP black paint finish is much more glossy and seems to show more imperfections like minor paint steaks or even a a few underlying specks of dirt in it's application than the sample shown here, almost as if the new coats were thinner. Pity
 
oh my, and I thought I'd never experience that old grade-school crush again ... something about black paint does that to a man.
 
I don't get the black paint thing myself. I guess brassing doesn't appeal. Black or silver chrome is much tougher.
 
this presses me to ask:
is that japanese guy who do re-painting (slow, and not responding mails) still taking orders?
