You can probably attribute the rise in demand/prices of the RF's on ebay to this site as well............................dammit! :)

There's a simple reason, Jorge. It's the best RF site out there! :)

Thanks for all your work creating/maintaining!! :D

Interesting data Jorge. Thanks for sharing it and also for your hard work in establishing and maintaining the site.

Glad to see those figures. Jorge, thanks again for starting this site and maintaining it so well!

That is 2,944.3 hits for each of the 576 members. There are lots of bosses not getting there money's worth out of us.

i think it's also due to a fine group of upstanding citizens who support, kidd and generally just like each other and treat all, from newbie to pro, with respect.

let's pat ourselves on the back now!

I think that RFF has shown that even in a faceless internet forum, members could still treat each other with respect by insisting it to be the norm behaviour. All members ought to be proud of themselves for respecting and upholding this norm in the forum and has helped to make it an institution. Once again, thanks Jorge for making this possible with your generosity and passion in RF photography. :)

I'm totally with Joe on this. This site is great because of the people who hang out at it. I'm a rank newbee and have learned so much from the people here. Ah gee, you guys even talked me into buying the Bessa R. Well, not really, but it helped me convince my wife that I just couldn't live without it. "Look honey! These guys say I really need this camera. Look at the great pictures I will be able to make if I only had this camera." Unfortunately, I don't think she will fall for that one again.

Not much to add to what has already been said. My most sincere thanks to Jorge for the hard work that must go into maintaining this site and to all who participate -- there is no other site that I would rather be involved with. It makes the petty arguing and nasty flaming that goes on at some other sites seem all the more absurd. And, what a group of talented photographers there are here; I am constantly in awe!

It's no wonder...the site is jam-packed with forums where everyone treats each other with respect, and the galleries here contain some fine, fine images. No digital here!!

Thanks Jorge! This is a great site. I agree with all of the above. New members are welcomed, people are helpful with questions, there is a comraderie here that is rare, and there are some inspiring photos! What more could you ask for?

Another kudo for this forum from me. What's interesting about the stats is that the jump in numbers occurred in July and August, a time when a lot of people spend time away from the computer.

What could this be attributed to I wonder? Could it be that in summertime more people are out taking pictures?

I just want to say, Thanks Jorge!!

For me, as someone said here, this site is a heaven where rangefinder lovers can meet each other. I'm not an active participant in the talks just because I'm a completly 'ignorant' about rangefinders - I didn't even know they exists - in this few months here I've learned a lot from you guys, again thanks Jorge and all of you ...
Is this site getting popular? who knows maybe some day we could create the 'Rangefindergraphy' as other did with Lomo. :)
