Canadian & Not A Dentist
I just developed a couple rolls of Neopan 1600 (dev'd in Xtol 1:1 for 7.5 minutes - came out looking a lot nicer, imho, than when I used to dev it in D76); one roll was from the M6 and the other was from the IIIc.
The M6, with the way it meters, I'm still sort of "getting used to" - after all, there were shots on the roll that were sad due to the way I didn't expose for the shadows enough.. however... the "important" shots; the reason I wanted a rangefinder, worked like a charm.
The IIIc, with the VC Meter II on it, worked just fine for the type of shots I was hoping to get. I can't wait to use it in a similar situation again in the future.
Oh.. and the reason??? Available light of course 🙂
The shots from the M6 were with the tabbed summicron at f2 and 1/15 or 1/30 handheld. They are of my friend who's recently had a baby - the little guy is only 2 months old - it was hard to get her and the baby still since the kid's got a bad case of colic 🙁
The shots from the IIIc were with the 35mm summaron at f3.5 and 1/4 handheld.. ya.. handheld honest. They are at a recent (a couple days ago) get together of friends in a little Irish pub near downtown Toronto.
Cheers
Dave
