Gene: Those interior shots are incredibly sharp considering your shutter speed; great work!

"And finally I developed my B&W roll from the event. Shots inside The Harp. All 1/15 @ f/2, Leica M2, M-Hexanon 50/2, Neopan 400 (rated at 400), Rodinal 1:50"
The exposure and contrast look perfect. Not easy to do under those lighting conditions.

Victor, indeed we missed you. Earl, Eduard, Victor, thanks! I was at the limit of my ability to hand hold. Couldn't have done it with an SLR...

Got some rolls developed at last, including a few shots from Port Credit. Gene, I saw your cautionary post about HP5 in Rodinal a little too late. Is that what went wrong with these? Not sure: the grain doesn't bother me as much as the muddy contrast. Haven't developed film for a few years, & am catching up on it. Just scanned these 2 'straight' & posted them. (Minolta Dimage Dual Scan... it's old as computer stuff goes.) The brightness/contrast control in PS makes them look normal on the screen. Still haven't printed anything - have to get the rain water out of my basement first. I'll see if I can remember how to put a couple more up on the flickr page, though they're like these...

Guy, I took the liberty of downloading one of your pics and playing with it a bit in PS. Sometimes an image that looks rather muddy and lifeless from a scan works up quite well in PS. I think you're on track with your development. You may want to get a bit more contrast at scanning time but the image handled quite well in PS. Here's an interpretation ...grainhound said:Got some rolls developed at last, including a few shots from Port Credit. Gene, I saw your cautionary post about HP5 in Rodinal a little too late. Ugh.. I still have the rolls of film (and the movie) to fix up for you guys.. I'm so behind on my developing.
I'm only getting through rolls that I've had since early this year now.

Gene, I got a similar result playing with brightness & contrast in PS. Just wondered if I'd messed up the development after seeing your heads up re HP5 in Rodinal. How did you get the thumbnail to go to the smaller size (than mine)? Also, where do I find the roadmap & directions for the Port Credit flickr? I'll do what I can with the ugly mud before uploading any more, though. Where's my #4 or 5 paper when I need it?
Glad you joined us here as well as in Port Credit, Nancy.

Still got a roll of Neopan 1600 to develop and I haven't uploaded all the photos off of the roll of Acros.. man... I'm slow... I'm not sure if the images will show in the post since, for some reason or other, you can post images in a new post but I don't see them in a preview in a "reply to" post.... weird.
