I'm also a lowly glasses-wearing scrub - that's why I'm struggling with the 0.72x finder! The RF patch has some good sharp edges, sure... but making sure people's eyes are in focus is much harder with the lower magnification. Correct focus on a good (clean!) Leica III finder is much more definite for me - especially with the diopter tweaked just right. I don't find myself hesitating as much.

If Leica made a digital IIIg, I'd be a very happy man.

And if they made the M10-M or/and M10-R with a 0.85x viewfinder, I'd trade for one of those in an instant knowing what I know now.
