EDIT: On looking closer she does bear a remarkable similarity to both but I do wonder if she might in fact have been Billie. Frida was quite hirsute and never tried to hide the fact - with prominent hair on her browline and upper lip, plus her nose shape might have been slightly more curved. She also almost invariably had a distinctive Mexican ethnic way of dressing whereas the subject here appears to be dressed in a more European manner - though her earring could be characteristic of either lady. But it does make me wonder. Not that it matters as it's a nice shot both by Deardorff and whoever took the original study. BTW Frida did travel to Paris in 1939 to exhibit her work so this certainly apparently fits.
