A view of the General Post Office building, Adelaide.
Now the facade of the Adelaide Marriot which rises above.
Viewed from the Adina Hotel across King William street.
I am unsure if this qualifies as a "window"
But it is in spirit and so I will post it as I love the glimpsed intimacy of (presumably) mother and child in quiet conversation.
Adelaide food hall.
The Artisan Hotel in downtown Deland, Florida had fallen on hard times with many broken windows. Local artists were replacing the broken windows with with wooden panels, then using them as a personal canvas. I drove by with one unexposed frame in my Mamiya 7, thinking at $5 for a roll of FujiChrome and another $5 for processing, I was not going to waste that last frame. As I stood there, contemplating the situation, this young bartender, wearing black and white, walked by. She smiled and I quickly gave her the short version of my situation. She expressed real interest and together we devised this scene of her sitting on the steps. One click of the shutter, one thanks from me, one thanks from her, and she left never to be seen again.
