This is an old, old, old one from when I was living in Jalisco, MX, and on a visit to Patzcuaro, Michoacan, MX. It was taken on an open house fund raiser tour and I saw some pretty nice homes. I was there for Dia des los Muertos, October 31 and November 1. Yes, two days for a "one day" celebration. Dia des los Muertos is a drop dead serious thing. Do not question that the dead come back between midnight and dawn. The 31st is for children to return, the 1st for adults. Eso es muy serioso.
