I'd add that Rob is a great chap.
Came with us to Montreal last year.

It's too bad that he's no longer on RFF (at least in any official capacity as far as I know) - he's a decent family man and a lot of fun to hang with 🙂

I haven't ordered anything from him yet but who knows.. maybe in the future 🙂 His prices certainly are competitive and the fact that he's "local" (or at least in Canada) is a good thing imho.

I got my ZI from Rob. The first ZI had a sticky frame preview lever, and Rob got it back to Zeiss quickly, then Zeiss followed up with a replacement - again, quickly. In my opinion, Canadians will get a better deal and better service from Rob for Zeiss and CV gear than from anywhere else. U.S. prices look fantastic until you add up the exchange and shipping costs, which make them much less competitive.

He has a fine website and I like his prices which, I assume, are in Canadian dollars. (currently trying to figure out what they are in USD-patience here, I was an English major).

The prices are in CDN, and are excellent. They are the cheapest I could find in Canada (and the US for that matter). Rob is an excellent guy. I got my CV 35 1.4 SC, and not am waiting for the weather to smarten up!

met rob at an RFF meet and he's a stand up guy. he brought out some ZI kit that we could play with and totally no pressure.

Rob rocks! I ordered a LTM 15mm Heliar from Rob and took delivery a few weeks ago. Quick shipping, reasonable prices - Highly recommended, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again!
