tighten soft release button

Pretty sure Mr. Tom Abrahamson from rapidwinder.com recommends a small dab of nail polish on the threads. This has worked for me in the past.
 
I have made a habit of a light twist at the first and last shot.

With that said, there are uses for nail polish in the masculine world!

that a dab of nail polish should make it Secure :)
 
And for those concerned...Tom is most likely talking about a Clear nail polish...
A small dab of Blue Loctite allowed to set up a bit before mounting will prevent any from creeping places you don't want it to go...
 
White glue, very little, and let it dry before screwing in the soft release. Another suggestion from Tom A. Works great. And removable easily.

. . . . . so far so good with advise given in the past to twist the soft release to validate it is tight every time the camera comes out and goes back into the bag.
