Tilted framelines...

Hi all.

I'm new to the world of Range Finders.
I was lucky enough to have a friend recommend me the R-D1s.
After a bit of searching, I tracked one down.
Great camera, I love the handling.

But, there is one issue.
Tilted framelines.
I know this subject has been beaten to death, but I still can't find a definitive answer. I checked my sensor and I'm quite sure it is straight. When I line up the frameline to a door frame, the picture comes out tilted.

Is there a way to fix this on my own?
Can a local shop perform a "straightening"?

Or are my options Epson or living with tilt?

My pictures seem sharp and nothing is wrong except for the clockwise tilt. I doubt that it makes a difference - I'm using the Ultron 28/1.9.

If I'm mistaken and there is a definitive answer I have missed, please post it and I'll give it a thorough reading.

Hi Matt, I recently shot 700 frames at a wedding and was extremely frustrated with this tilt. I believe now, however, that I am not used to the framelines and this camera yet.

With careful practice and concentration on the frameline segments I am able to create level images now. Perhaps the crop sensor and the 1:1 viewfinder combined do not show tilt as accurately as with my film rangefinders?

I suggest you take a few dozen test pictures at home of spaces with lines that you want to be level. I just did the same with my 28 Ultron mounted and the tilt I was experiencing before is gone.

I suppose that when shooting my M6 I can usually look at the framelines indirectly and still successfully align when I want to but with the R-D1 I really have to focus on the frameline segments if I wish to avoid unwanted tilt.
