Time confusion on RFF

There is something weird here. I check back RFF several times a day, and have noticed this more than once. The TIME on some of the posts is weird.

My thread on "Demonstrating Lens signature" has the post by Jan Normandale, apparently made 18 hrs ago. On the "Home" page it shows the posting to have been 10 mins. ago. The latter seems likely since there are only 3 other threads (right this moment) posted on SINCE his post. BUT, I saw his post SEVERAL HOURS ago, so it can't have been posted only 10 mins ago.
My computer clock seems fine, and matches the "You last visited" time on RFF, I am on Eastern Time, and use an iMac, that automatically syncs time with some Atomic clock.

Anyone have this happen, or know what it is ?

I have noticed this too, presumed it was some sort of server error.

The thread you mention (Demonstrating Lens Signature) is a Poll.

The last person to vote in the poll will update the stats (indicating an update), but it will NOT mark the member who voted as the last person to "update" the thread. That will remain as the last person who posted a comment in the thread.

It's an anomaly of vBulletin, the forum software.
