If it is kept in a full bottle, Xtol lasts 6 months, according to Kodak. If the bottle has a lot of air in it, the lifespan drops to 2 months. If yours was outside these recommended ages, you got lucky. Given how CHEAP developers are, it is silly to take such risks. It costs more to buy a roll of film than the pack of Xtol did, and if yourfilm is ruined, you get to buy two rolls. One you messed up and another to reshoot the stuff...assuming you even can reshoot.
