I have been shooting TMAX 3200 typically rated at 1250 and TRI-X rated at 250. Can anyone give there opinion on which developers gives the nicest results for these faster films?
I am not so concerned with maximum speed for the films. I also tend to like the grain of the films if the negatives are properly developed. I scan my film and print on a Epson R2400. I know I don't want flat muddy lifeless negatives. I know that each film will have it's own signature with regards to contrast and grain so I am not trying to get results not inherent in the films.
I have found Rodinal/AGFA APX and Rodinal/EFKE 25 give me fantastic results and negatives that allow me to make prints that "glow".
Thanks!
