I have been shooting TMAX 3200 typically rated at 1250 and TRI-X rated at 250. Can anyone give there opinion on which developers gives the nicest results for these faster films?
I am not so concerned with maximum speed for the films. I also tend to like the grain of the films if the negatives are properly developed. I scan my film and print on a Epson R2400. I know I don't want flat muddy lifeless negatives. I know that each film will have it's own signature with regards to contrast and grain so I am not trying to get results not inherent in the films.
I have found Rodinal/AGFA APX and Rodinal/EFKE 25 give me fantastic results and negatives that allow me to make prints that "glow".
Thanks!

Right now I'm shooting Tri-X at 250 and developing in HC-110h. I like it, but here is a site with extensive testing. Your two films are mentioned. At the bottom of the first page is her best recommendations for each film. I have used her times on two films and have been happy. http://www.chrisjohnsonphotographer.com/charts.shtml#anchor30675

9.5 min agitate ever 30 sec per Kodak Tech Pub J-86
Scanned on Epson 4490 Photo
I love the grain this combo produces.

Tmax 3200 rated at 1200 I've always done in diafine. I've never shot trix at 250.
