You've given him every chance; I don't think you could have been more decent about it.
The lens cost him nothing; it got him out of a hole; to start complaining now is simply not on.
And isn't the Noctilux fun? Most of the people who badmouth them have never tried them, or have tried them and are trying to persuade themselves. Yes, there are always some people they won't suit. That's true of any lens.
I'd say: enjoy it in good health. And with a clear conscience.

Ok, here are some recent photos from the bar. This is a good friend of mine, denying that he is going through a midlife crisis. After many years of not being in a relationship, he meets someone, she gets pregnant, and he buys a 1975 Jag, for her and the baby. He recently proposed, and she said yes.
