As a Contaxian, I was a bit concerned until I read the rest... (granted nothing lasts forever).

Effective April 1, 2015 ToCAD America will cease service of all Contax equipment.
Beginning April 1st, please send all Contax units for repair to:

Had to get a Distagon 18 fixed last year (I dropped it :bang🙂: both ToCad and Zeiss refused (it was the older "Made in West Germany"-version) - KEH to the rescue...

re: Nippon Photo Clinic — They've been around for quite a while, servicing professionals in NYC, so they're an outfit i would trust. I just hope they're going to be able to work with/access Contax parts for a good period of time....

Nippon Photo serviced a Contax T for me about ten years ago.
Thanks to their stock of NOS parts when returned my camera looked and worked like new.
