Here are some photos taken with my new 3.5cm/1.8.
all pictures are wideopened shot and, in these latter days I hardly mount my nikkor 5cm/1.4
In my opinion, this lens can "draw" a beautiful picture...(feel like watercolor painting?, but not soft!)
Fianlly 3.5cm/2.5 will arrive within 3-4weeks! I think it's really good chance to compare the fastest 3.5cm with superb 3.5cm/2.5
Nikon S2 / 3.5cm 1.8 / Fuji asita (wide open)

Really nice - especially the tree!
I see that you use Asita - nice colours... I normally use the Reala for it´s soft colours.

Thanks for posting. Nice and sharp even at f1.8. Another vote for photo 3. Nice use of DOF!
Glad to see another 3.5cm f1.8 2005 being used for its intended purpose

I love Astia's color! and Reala is my favorite negative film with Kodak ultra 400uc
Films of Fuji are good at green color. it's really fresh! So I usually prefer to use Fuji rather than to use kodak.

I'm afraid of I can't use this lens performance fully, but I'll try my best !jonmanjiro said:Thanks for posting. Nice and sharp even at f1.8. Another vote for photo 3. Nice use of DOF!

I envy you because you would easily get variety of Nikon RF lenses.
It's really hard to be a Nikon RF user in korea ㅠㅠ

Mine is new 2005 version.Brian Sweeney said:Very nice photos.
This is a sharp/fast lens. I'm also very pleased with how the much less expensive 3.5/F2.5 lens compared with it.
Is this the original 3.5cm F1.8, or the new 2005 version?
I bought it including front cap and hood with bessa R2s
Actually, I don't need R2s, but seller told me "I'm never going to sell them separately" So I bought it all....
I paid about $970 for all these things, Is it reasonable price?

I used today the original Nikkor 35mm/1.8 on a Bessa R2C and I also used a Nikkor 35mm/2.5, Both are loaners. I also have the Nikkor 35mm/3.5 but in LTM as a loaner.

You got a nice deal on the 3.5cm f1.8 and R2S
I'm sure I can't find such a good deal in Japan.
There is more Nikon gear here in Japan, but also many more buyers :bang:
