Canada, eh.
For $20, package deal:

Nikon F801s, FG
Tamron 35-80, 80-210 zooms
14 rolls c41 kodak film
39 rolls Elite chrome film
17 rolls kodachrome film
17 rolls kodak advantix aps c41 film

Does the kodachrome have any use/worth? Can it be processed in B+W chemicals?

The Nikon FG's shutter was bent in, the blades out of the tracks. Since it was already broken, I stuck my fingers in from both sides and got them back into the tracks. They weren't kinked and returned to their proper form. Camera works fine now, just needed new batteries. The 801s works fine.

Nice find Frank...
The Tamrons should be decent lenses...my first one was the 28-70 and it is very sharp...
The Kodachrome could be sold as collector's items...
And a nice "What the heck..." fix on that FG...

Dear Frank,

As we say in English: "Jammy bar steward."

Kodak gives (or gave) information on processing Kodachrome as B+W -- which of course it is, as a non-substantive film. Or try selling it roll by roll to 'collectors' to put in their 'outfits'.

Cheers,

R.

Cool buys. The shutter fix was something I used to have to do regularly when gob****es made a mess of loading the film and put their finger through the shutter 🙄 I never charged them, perhaps I should have. Lol.

I thought I read that APS film was to start being discontinued soon. (This re: Kodak; not sure about Fuji as I'm not an APS guy.) If you've not got any compelling use for the APS yourself, sit on it for just a bit until the NOS at Amazon etc. is mostly gone, and then you may be able to eBay that to some Pronea owner for more than $20, making the rest of the haul cost you (net) less than nothing.

There is a possible buyer interested in the 17 rolls of Kodachrome for $20. That would pay for the purchase. I may just throw the aps rolls in the freezer - thanks for that idea.

It was a good deal but it pales in comparison to the Nikon RF garage sale buy.

The Tamron... 2.8 to 3.5 + Macro???

The Tamron... 2.8 to 3.5 + Macro???

Is the Tamron the BBAR MULTI-C. I've been using that lens with three of the adaptall II mounts for Olympus, Pentax and Minolta. Right now it's adapted to my Olympus DSLR 4/3 camera. Stacked the Adaptall II on the Olympus OM to 4/3 adaptor from Fotodiox. It's stupendous, and is 70 to 160 35mm equivalent. Tack sharp macro.

It's always been a superb lens on the various cameras i've mounted it to. Have always been impressed by the Tamron Adaptall II mount system and the glass... Dynamite concept!!!

I even have the adaptall II mount for the Tamron BBAR to Mamiya ZM 35mm. Remember those. Came after the Mamiya ZE, and the NC1000 that Mamiya branded for Sears. Used Mamiya/Sekor lenses. Tiny little 35mm cameras. Smaller than Olympus OM series.

I've tried some adapt-all lenses before and they just seem slightly kludgy to me. I prefer the nikkor primes.

"Kludgy"... Heck Yes Frank!

After all, It's a third party lens, mounted on a klanky Adaptor (Adaptall II), then mounted on an OM to 4/3 adaptor. The mounted to the Olympus E-400 DSLR (no IS) sold only in Europe, and the last Kodak Sensor used by Olympus (10MP). Examples handheld:

Compared to a Nikon Prime... Well, after all the adaptors are stacked, it pretty much mounts like a prime. A little more involved in use perhaps. But good enough for the price paid.

So, how much do you want for your Tamron 35-80 BBAR MC? I can always use another inexpensive lens. 😀

Yes, there are still APS shooter around. Like me (Vectis System).
Just to clarify the value of your APS rolls: Standard 240 film is still offered by Fuji and Kodak (200 ISO colour C41).
(sent you a PM)
