The 5005 Nikkor-S through the earliest NK Japan appear to be the same to me and my digital calipers. Sometime around 34x (I do not have a 33x) the forumula changed, according to my digital calipers.
The collapsible is a real collectors lens. That is opposed to a users lens. The mechanism does not stay in place as well as the Summicron and SUmmitar. The locking tabs are not as strong. Optically, its great. It does not close-focus like the Rigid lens. Prices on them have dropped, at one time Woodmere wanted over $1000 for the collapsible Nikkor in LTM.
