I find nudes kind of an intellectual exercise. Not my kind of interest. Tough to do right easy to do badly. Few are competent. I've seen a couple of RFF members do this right and I've said so. For me I'm not interested even for free. I know it sounds strange but I find it very sterile. A good portrait is more revealing to me and is probably even more difficult.

BTW most 'portraits' I see are missing some spark I would like to see

So... what's wrong with that? I've noticed that every time I've stopped looking at my wife (who has the same Catholic hang-ups and the same weight "issues"), someone else is more than willing to look at her. Guys were even leering when she was pregnant. What's up with that??

she feels uncomfortable with me paying attention on that level to a tiny buxom model -=-- that was my point --- it's kinda like hiring the recovering alcoholic as the unsupervised bar manager --- it''s a situation to avoid temptation --- it is a courtesy I afford her as she would not be happy with me doing the work --- that was my misunderstood point

marriage is already a stormy, difficult thing to handle even in the best of circumstances --- that is a fight waiting to happen, a divorce waiting to happen, or fidelity issues waiting to happen....

There is no graceful way of it...

Well, partly right: marriage is never always easy. Fights happen, but divorce/infidelity is another issue. But that's a bit OT... and the kids are asleep so I think I'll leave you folks and go see what I can stir up. Nice chatting with you!!
