I have come to the conclusion that I really LOVE(read use) a few of my lenses...
ZM 25/2.8
Summicron 40/2
Planar 50/2.8
Rokkor 90/4

A tight kit to use with my ZI body and backup M2.

now to what remains...
CV 15/4(LTM)
cron 35/2
CV 40/1.4 MC
elmar 50/3.5(LTM)
Summar 50/2(LTM) Just CLA'd by DAG!
J-3 50/1.5(LTM)
cron 90/2

I'm completely on the fence about selling the lenses, I don't need the cash, but wouldn't mind having a canon 5d, and this might go a way towards that!😕

The SIZE of the 90 cron is immense!

and I usually stop down the 90/2 anyway, i need the DOF.

Triplefinger, your kit selection is the inverse of what I'd keep.

The 90 'cron is huge, yes. That's why I opted for the pre-apo, slightly shorter than the first version Elmarit. The Elmarit is a beauty, but I need/like that extra stop, so I traded it. The pre-apo is also about 2/3 the weight of the original 'cron.

Anyway...I'm winking at that 50 Elmar and the 15/4.5 😉 And the 35/2 cron, of course 😀

Why do you prefer the cron 40 over the cron 35?

I have never tried a 40, the closest I tried is a 43 and it is more like a "generous" 50. A 35 gives a different perspective and tends to be what I prefer indoors and most of the times as a general lens.

Which version of the cron 35 do you have BTW? 😉
