Almost done tweaking the rangefinder on this Konica I. Thought it looked good topless:
Shutter's been completely rebuilt, rangefinder's almost done - only thing left will be a new skin!

Given the teaser subject line, very disappointing.

Looks good so far. What's wrong with the current skin. Actually looks good as is imho. But after all that work, you can put any skin on your want I guess.

Hello Scott. Good work!
What is it this strange flash contact sticking out of the lens?
I have the same thing on a old folding camera.
Thanks! The flash contact is some weird, spring-loaded thing that works with the Koniflash setup. I've seen (but never held) adapters to PC.

The current leatherette looks good on the front, but is torn all over on the back, and is missing in large pieces on the bottom. Thinking real leather from cameraleather.com...

Nice, but you really need to airbrush her a bit.

Fellows, you're looking at a standard ASA flash contact. Nothing strange/weird about a standard ASA flash contact. Now reread my previous two sentences--It's a STANDARD contact! Seems I once read that this is ASA Type 1 and the PC contact is ASA Type 2, but I can't verify this.

Just learned here about standard flash socket. I have seen pictures of Konica I, never realized it doesn't has PC socket. It looks like a socket to fill up lighter

Hi Scott - my Konica I needs a shutter repair, only one shutter speed. Where do, you live? Can I ship it to you and have it fixed?
