I might be traveling to Toronto soon(-ish) and I'd like to know the best places around town for street photography, your favorite parts, unknown places, good night spots etc. (Never been there)
It's very tentative but definitely in the summer, for a couple of days. Not at all into regular touristic stuff, my idea of a trip is walking all day and night and just shooting !!

St Lawrence market is pretty cool. Might provide some pretty interesting scenes. The islands and the ferry ride to get to them can be interesting as well, but since I went there during winter it was mostly all freezed up. From the islands you get a cool view of the city skyline, which is not what you've asked for, but still it's nice to look at. it must look much better now, also, with flowers and lotsa green.

Something that is actually pretty cool is this basement where they play b movies, me and my friend who lives there discovered it that week and it was pretty fun! also, the place's entrance is quite something:

When I went to Toronto I had a DSLR and another mindset for photos, so didn't see the city as I'd see nowadays :(

Islands are cliché, try Kensington Market instead of St Lawrence. A lot of Toronto is photographically interesting.
