Funny how things work out!
I came across the opportunity to acquire a Rolleiflex 6003 src 1000 with 80 Planar, waist level and 90* finders, from kijiji.
I had noticed the sellers ad over a few weeks. The last version said: will consider trade for modern digital camera.
Now, I had just bought a new xe2 body (that wasn't going anywhere) and then 2 used kits from kijiji for the lenses: xe1 with 27 for $500 (actually $200 plus a surplus/redundant Nikon F3/50/motordrive), and xm1 with 16-50 for $225. The xe1 body was sold for $250.
So, I was able to strike a trade: the xm1 with 27, for the Rolleiflex. So now I'm down to just 1 digi camera, the xe2 with 16-50 zoom, and a Rolleiflex 6003! It's not pristine, and the lens hood is modified with a slot for square filters, but the camera seems to work.
I'm happy with the trade and how things worked out. 🙂
