that's a fine pair of shots; converging lines are dramatic. i like the muted colors as well. kit?

I find the first picture interesting: the geometry of the buildings contrasting with the grass and the small man, in his frame, is the only human visible and gives a of solitude. it is a photo which works well. The lines in the second photo are impressive, as Paul just said.
