I'm just getting back into photography after about a four year hiatus. I dropped off a roll of Velvia and Ilford Pan F two weeks ago and the Ilford came back today at $20. I'm fearful of what the Velvia is going to cost, or even when it will come back.

I'm going to start doing my own B&W again, but I've never tried E-6 at home and I've read it can be difficult. So, what is the best way to have 120 slide film developed in the Detroit area?

B+W often costs MORE than slide, so don't worry too much.

E6 at home is surprisingly easy but I understand that my favourite (Tetenal) has just been withdrawn from the US market.
