Traveling light and then facing challenges

Thank you.
Yes, we had a great time in this trip. Keeping the camera equioment to a (weight) minimum made is easier for me to walk around for hours.

I took with me the Sonnar 5cm/1.5 for portraits. here are some examples.

Beside a special lens you have also excellent models in your family Raid !
lovely!

Thank you Robert! What appears as technically "imperfect" is actually (for me) some special images of my family.

I set my M 4/3 camera to Natural as a setting, and I add some color punch in post processing to the jpg files. I am used to Velvia slides. The RAW files stay as I get them as my back-up for future reviews of my images.

Thanks, Robert. The E-PL1 and the Summilux give surprisingly good night scenes. I will post more of them soon. There is hardly any flare, and the colors look very nice. Sharpness is really good with this lens.

Have you ever considered editing your photos and only posting your top ten? It's like a memory card dump. Sort of like the link in your signature to your Top 12 Images - it takes you to 79 photos. Just a thought.

Over the years, many people asked me to keep it this way.
No offense. Out of 1700 images on the memory cards, I edited and picked these out. Just yesterday, there were over 5000 image views for these posted images here. Yesterday, there were about 5000 image views on the images that I posted here in this thread.

Sometimes looking at your photo I notice details I didn't notice when we were together in that place! Love that "erboristeria/black block" photo, and that two gentlemen...

PS: I think having already been in that area more times my attention was not so high as yours! Which for a photographer is not so good, something to improve on my side!

Thank you Robert. I love paying attention to some small things. They attract my attention. Rasha has told me this many times as we watch TV, say. I ask about some things that she never paid attention to. They are subtle and seem unimportant.

By the way, LaSpezia has a lot to offer for visitors. It may have no WOW factor as Cinque Terre has, but it is a very nice place to visit. I try to create (for myself really) a memory tour of what I saw during the trip. I appreciate the interest in such memory tours!
