Tri-X bulk roll cheap at unique photo. maybe all is not lost!

I heard the price has dropped, but this free shipping deal is great. I was thinking of ordering from Freestyle, but their shipping is not competitive, thanks for the tip!
 
I was curious to see what it would cost to ship to Australia. Although they ship outside the US, when I select Australia as the shipping location, there's no additional shipping charge shown in the shopping cart! However the site says "free shipping in US" so I assume they'll add a charge. No point in ordering unless total charge is known.
 
Maybe they figured they can not charge double or more what others want. Free enterprise you know.

I already ditched them and will not go back.

I tried too and not only can I not calculate the shiping to New Zealand but I can't get a cost for any destination outside the USA.

Have e-mailed them :)

Interested to hear what they say. HP5+ locally seems to have gone up to ~A$110 recently (my last roll was A$80) so it could be a good choice.

Hopefully it is a sign of things to come and TMAX400 also comes down - worldwide...
 
I was surprised to learn that Tri-X has gone up in price so much. It's about 20% more expensive than HP5 here in Europe.
 
They call it Tri-X 402. Is this different then the regular Tri-X? It seems that a different number (though similar) and such a low price compared to prices from other suppliers; kind of makes me suspicious that it is not regular Tri-X.
 
I still have nearly 1000 feet in the freezer from the time Freestyle was selling it rebadged as Arista 400. I think from memory it was twenty dollars or so per 100 ft.

Seventy five dollars made me blink ... and then I saw that it can go as high as $129.00 :eek:
 
Has anyone successfully placed an order? I tried to order, got an order confirmation, but the invoice order total was $0. Emailed their customer service and got zero response.
 
Here in Japan the 100ft bulkroll of Tri-X (400TX) had gone up to (converted) US$285.

Freestyle now have it at $76.49.

I'm still not convinced it's better than using the standard rolls. Of course if you live in the US and it's free postage :)

I never received any response to my e-mail so I guess sending stuff outside of the US is not a priority. I just checked their site and it still doesn't calculate shipping for international postage.
