Tri-X, DD-X and pushing

Hello,

what are your experiences developing Tri-X with DD-X?

Does it give good results at speeds from 100 - 1600 or even 3200 ISO ?

(As a alternative developer I also have Rollei RHS at home.)

Dear Thomas,

True ISO of Tri-X in DD-X, about 650.

What you consider an 'acceptable' push will vary with your personality and the subject matter. I've a few pictures I like from the days when I pushed ISO 400 films to EI 1600, but quite honestly, if I want over 1000 nowadays, I prefer Delta 3200. An awful lot depends on how much shadow detail/differentiation you want/need.

I did push Delta 400 to EI800 with some reasonable results. You can find HERE a few samples.
