Hi folks.
I'm off to NY in 3 weeks... but i can't decide which B&W film to take!!!! i've got 4 rolls of Velvia 50 in the fridge which i'll take for colour... but can't decide on XP2... FP4... DELTA 400??? Neopan... the list goes on. any advice?

My kit now is G2 body. 21; 28; 35; 45 & 90. very healthy. :)

From your post, i know you love low ISO film and slides.

I am the opposite: for color nothing in the market and my mind beats Kodak 400UC negative film (source: Wmart three 36 rolls of K 400UC ~ 12$), and I pefer Kodak 400 CN for b+w as well. These films have plenty of sharpness, contrast, saturation, speed, and no noticable grain at 8 by 12 inches, especially due to the lenses we use.

Well I'm biased towards Ilford - love Delta 100 and 400 and had great results with both. I process my own but have some XP2 to play with because I've heard such good things about it. You've got a couple of weeks to test a roll of each... :)
