Was feeling adventurous and decided to shoot a roll of TriX pushed to 1600 to be developed in Rodinal.
I must say the results surprised me and i might just stick to this combo for a while 🙂

Shot with ZI and 35mm PreAsph Lux.
Scanned with Plustek 7600.
The only adjustments made (with Capture NX2) were to both ends of the curves to make the blacks black and whites white and also a very slight unsharp mask.

yeap.
Both the massive dev chart and steve anchell's book suggested 18.5 minutes.

What i did was......
Rodinal 1:50, 20 degrees centigrade.
Continuous inversion for first 30s.
Then 2 invs every minute till 9 mins mark and 1 invs every 2 mins till the end.

Nice pics. I'm also enjoying Tri-X@1600 with Rodinal 1:50.

MDC is suggesting 18.5 min, but I've been doing 20 min with following agitation scheme.

45 sec continuous > 10 sec per minute for first 10 min, then one more at 15 min mark. I think it preserves highlight and gives me a bit more flexibility for prints.
