Trouble contacting Photographer's Formulary?

I tried Photographer's Formulary on 1 (800) 922-5255 and 1 (406) 754-2891 and got a generic "This subscriber can't answer right now."

Whassup?

Anyone else have trouble contacting them?

I did contact them by email and phone three weeks ago. No problem either time. Did you try email? The only time I had a problem was when I failed to remember the time zone difference.

I did. Turns out they are just fine. When their phones are busy, their phone company puts calls through to a generic phone message. Odd thing to do to a business. Nevertheless, they pinged back, assuring me that they were up and running.

About ever couple of years I get the yen to try something other than Xtol (or my home brew version)

I have ordered some:

Beutlers
Exactol Lux
Harvey's Defender 777 (backordered)

I have never used a staining/tanning developer before so I am interested to see what the Exactol will do with 35mm negs. I will start a different thread asking for practical advice on these (rotary tubes? tanks-n-reels?)
