My good old Leica from 1936, have gone in to a hung up in the shutter mechanism; I was going to set in a new film, it will not advance to release..
I will first try my local repairman in Oslo, if he can't, I guess there are someone on the continent..
Does it exist any lists of servicepersonel out there?
This camera is to good to be placed to rest.

Not to worry, Erik. The old girl will sing again. Your Oslo repairman will probably know of other technicians -- assuming, that is, that he cannot do the job himself.
[edit] You might check if the rewind lever is in the correct position.

Make sure that there are no film chips stuck inside that prevent you from advancing to release.
this is a common problem on Barnacks.

Still trouble..
Still trouble..
Well, the Leica in Norway wanted to send the camera to Germany for fixing this problem, and I must say that the price for this was too high.
Well, I guess there are some possibilities somewhere..
