Truth or Dare

that's a great story!

that's a great story!

classic!!

So now you can ask someone who is in, and has not been responded to yet.

I had to think a lot about this one, I couldn't remember anything. The only one I could remember was this: I had a roll of film ready to pick up at the lab. One of my friends had to pick up some film from the same lab himself, so I asked him to pick up my photos too. He opened the envelope and looked at the photos, and saw some pretty suggestive photos of my ex, which happened to be the sister of one of his best friends. He only said: So, umm, you're dating X's sister?

"Have i ever darted a farm animal?"

Well gather round folks for a true tale of a man down under.

Long ago and far away in a place where no one was actually watching there was this very very attractive sheep, big brown eyes and blonde hair a cute little tail and just the quietest and softest little baaaaaaa you ever dd hear.

We got her when she was very young and called her Mary Lou, i kid you not. She had all the best qualities a boy could expect from a sheep ... friendly and playful just a little bit shy and not afraid to play with the boys in the long grass at the back of grandma's section

I even took her out to dinner once it was really a bit of a family affair with all the relatives getting involved, no one seemed to mind that it was my sheep they were just happy to share in the joy of the moment.

As i remember it was Xmas 1967 and with a bit of mint sauce she was delicious, Grandma cooked her just right and with all the roast veges it was better that any Xmas since.

So I can say i once knew a lamb called Mary Lou but we never dated.

Ethan, your dare is to put up an American Flag in your window or in front your your house during the 24 hours of July 4!! And of course, photograph it with a rangefinder!

Nice try! :p

Ok, I dare ya to shoot one of those precipice pix - you know, they do them in cities where there are high places that people shouldn't be. Danger's a factor, but you don't need to risk your life, just look like you did.

Sounds good, I'm in for this.

Have you ever gotten yelled at or confronted for taking a photo of someone who didn't wish to be photographed?

Does my wife count? And how many times do I have to relate? :D

the medic is a health professional bound by HIPPA rules. If you don't have a release from the patient, you don't have any business there. Get away and let the medics help the poor guy unobstructed.

You're kidding, right? The poster said nothing about obstructing the medics. And things that happen in public view remain subject to public scrutiny (therefore photography). Sad to say, but much of HIPPA is apparently unenforceable, but doesn't apply anyway, as this was something in public, not within a medical practicioners office.

Now that I have probably made you upset, I'm in for truth.

ok

ok

have you ever broken a law? where? when? and how many times?

I'm in for a dare, as long as "one roll" can equal "10-12 exposures." I'm half-frame, and 75 of anything is too many.

Also, I wanted to address this:

Just last week I was in Los Angeles and came across a Sax player on the street...I was taking a few shots of him when he tipped his head towards his "Tip" cup...I motioned back that I had no "spare change"...he then told me not to photograph him...I took a few more shots before moving on...

Am I the only one who avoids shooting street performers at close range if I haven't tipped? It feels rude, and I say this as someone who mercilessly jams his camera in the faces of unsuspecting little old ladies on the street.

Driving to work every day, the speed limit on the highway is 65 mph. If one drives at that speed, one becomes a traffic hazzard as most people drive 75 mph. I try very hard not to be a traffic hazzard. :D

Ok

Ok

Take 12 photos, where each photo represents something from a tune that was popular in the 1980s.

I really hadn't thought of tipping being the norm in this situation...but I understood what he was implying when he nodded toward his case...
With that I would have put something in there but I had nothing to give...that's what I tried to tell this guy when he started on about no photos...

Now, on another tipping hot topic...I'm seeing more and more "Tip" jars being placed just about everywhere...so I'm supposed to tip the guy who hands me my burger or doughnuts...:bang:
