Since "Selfies" are a completely incomprehensible phenomenon it literally took me a few seconds to "get it". But then... wow! What an absolute brilliant shot! Thanks for sharing.

people taking selfies, generally, have a jolly good time, and some can stretch these sessions admirably. conceded, they usually repeat the very same smile, selfiephile nevertheless offer great photo opportunities.

The key difference being with selfies is that you need your face in it.

After all, some of the best artists - HCB, Dorothy Lange and Steve McCurry used selfies as a way of grounding the image in the face of the photographer.
