'Tuscany', text Maggie Barrett, photos Joel Meyerowitz

I saw the photographs on exhibit in a gallery. I also leafed through the book a few times, looking solely at the photographs and not the text. Meyerowitz of course has more talent in his little finger than I have in my whole body. But, in my humble opinion, while some of the shots were lovely, the work as whole wasn't particularly relevatory or special. Unlike his Cape Cod work, which I remember really grabbed me when I first saw it.

Certainly other people might have a different opinion, and the book is worth a look. Here's a link to some of the photographs:
