Two Light Colors

I'm gonna shoot a room wich has a yellow light, but not enogh light to shoot, so I need to use the flash. For the yellow, I would use a blue filter (80A) to "correct" and get the white color. If I use the flash, it will color the picture as blue, because of the filter. How do I setup to correct this? Should I use a yellow filter for the flash? Wich one?

Is there any other options, without changing the light from the room?

1t depends on the strength of the flash. If the flash(es) provides enough output, the yellow light may not shift the colour balance enough to make the resulting photo objectionable. One option is to do some test shots with cc filters, which are available in incremental values and can provide you with the "exact" correction you need. The other option is using a colour temperature meter and calculating the exact colour compensatio needed, but I don't have a process for that.

Other thing you can do is to filter the light from the flash unit (yellow filter), and then compensate for colour balance with a filter (blue) on the lens. Another option is (if possible) compose and focus with the yellow light(s) on, turn off the yellow light and use the flash only. Later it´s possible to process the picture with your computer and correct any colour unbalance that may appear.

You don't know whether your blue filter will exactly balance the yellow light, anyway. Do as Ernesto says and turn off the yellow light. If you can't turn it off, use enough flash to overwhelm it.
