I gotta say, I love shooting with this camera... I only wish there was a more "up to date" version (maybe 8 or 10mp)... I'd buy one in a flat second.

The extra resolution would be meaningless. In fact it would probably make the image worse, since it would just increase noise at the expense of a negligible increase in resolution. Just buy it as it is and enjoy taking pictures.
