was really pleased with the results of the Contaflex a friend gave me the camera the other day impressed withe build quality and how bright the viewfinder is
 
So basically you're comparing a 50 mm high speed Sonnar against a slower 45-50 mm Tessar. I'm not sure what the point is but they both seem sharp and contrasty with the biggest difference being the OOF fingerprint. If you really want to compare them, the subject placement and lighting should be identical, preferably using the cameras on a tripod. You should also note the apertures to better compare the results. It would be interesting to compare both at f/2.8, f/5.6 and f/11.
 
point taken...... not really a good comparison, the contax lens was a zeiss 50mm f2, i think both images were shot at f 5.6
