I`ve seen lots of M6` in this forum that looks like they`ve never been used... How about posting pics of some that have been used ? Heavily ? Beat up, worn out, you know what I mean. I`ll start: I`t may look quite ok from a distance, but to be honest, it ain`t pretty

Next time maybe try to expose for the subject rather than the background...

Maybe you should take a picture of the camera when it is not behind a bright lit up neon blue thing?

Perhaps it`s my bad writing skills that is the problem.:bang: Naos got it right. It`s not ment as an argument or discussion. To be sure it`s clear, I use "cut and paste" .... here we go: naos:

I understand you fine and would contribute if I had such a camera, fortunately my M6's are in pretty neat condition.
I have a black and battered M4-P. But the strange thing is that the pictures I have of it won't show the wear as bad as it really is.

I take it there is no covering on your M6. Treat it to some griptac covering from Cameraleather. Joe

I've always thought that the more used that looked a camera of m¡ne, the prettier it was...
No way I'd post an image of one of them under a title referring to it as the "ugliest M6 -ever"!!!

Can't see if the camera is badly scarred or unmarked. Doesn't matter, really, so long as it works.

Joe: I`ve already sent them (cameraleather) a mail
The previous owner stripped and painted the camera, and removed the straplugs. It`s very unproffessionally done, and it looks silly. I got it for almost nothing, and love it! I`ll get some griptac, and hopefully some new straplugs, but has to modify the lugs because I`ve got two tiny screws on each side where there used to be a hole for the lugs.

you can get strap lugs from micro-tools for about $6.

Thank you for the advice, problem is they won`t fit because of the mods done by the previous owner....

Ease up on this guy. I once owned the worlds ugliest Nikon F but it worked great. Also, there is the strange logic that a well used camera/lens is the one to buy because it only gathered the use because it was good. The old Nikon F was so battered I had the machine shop I worked in measure from the film plane to the lens mount. It was flat and square within a ten thousandths of an inch. The limit of their measuring ability. Joe
