Hi all, I usually use my local film lab as they do scans and prints but they are closed. Is there any mail order firms in the Uk that can do scans and prints?
Or if not then at a push I can print the scans myself but have never ent film off to be scanned.

My favourite FilmDev are shut (just excellent colour & BW) but no prints anyway. AG Photolab is still developing and printing colour and bw but taking twice the time.

If you want hand development of Black and White with scan, I can heartily recommend https://www.keithmossphotography.co.uk/we-process-black-and-white-film - he is an Ilford Artisan Partner, and taught me everything I know about developing. He normally does Street photography and developing workshops, but with this disease and other considerations, he's concentrating on developing for others.

There's also Silverpan who a friend uses (and switched to Keith for black and white) and rates highly. He's utterly snowed at present though.

I used the Plymouth lot once and the colour development was shockingly bad - on one negative alone I had to remove 200 dustspots in LR, and there was uneven development on the end of eash strip used for dunking. Never again!

For something quick and simple ASDA used to offer a process and scan service.

You had to hand deliver to store though - OK if you were called Cummings I suppose!

It worked for 35mm, C41 only, although if you processed at home they would scan a mono film strip and save the images to to cd.
