UK Photographers Rights Card

Thank you Sir. Lots to learn still.

This is a great find for those across the pond. Wish we had the same over here.

There's a typo on the card that reads:
Would you like you see them officer?"

I few months back I was approached by three police officers, and I gave them my name and address because they said 'we've stopped you now, so we have to take them'. Turns out they can only do that if I'm being reported for an offence. Is there anyway I can find out if I was reported for an offence and whether my details are kept anywhere?

Any German version? I never had a problem, would prefer to know my rights (and rights of the other side too) better ...

You could write to the Chief Constable's Office and they would have to let you have everything they have in the form of electronic data.

However the anonymity of being one record in millions may be preferable to having an “attitude” flag attached to your name

Thanks sepiareverb.

Just printed off a couple of copies for me and a mate!
I'll also send the file to my tame policeman sergeant (son) who is in another UK force and see what is his reaction. If anything printable and interesting I'll 'report' back.
