There's a popular thread for the 400 iso here.
Why not another one dedicated for #ultrafinextreme100 which is also very nice.
Photos and comments are welcome.
Cheers!

Think Different
I bought a 100' roll of Ultrafine Extreme 100 when it was on sale for some ridiculously low price. I loaded a few rolls, and wandered through a peaceful demonstration in my small town earlier this summer. Taken with an old Canon IVSB2 rangefinder and Canon 35/2.8 lens. I was pleasantly surprised how good the film was. It was a high contrast, open sun day, and the film handled it perfectly.

I think it looks great in 120 format.

I'd like to see results with this film when pushed to ISO 200 or thereabouts.

I'll help you keep this going...I like UFX100. From the Rollei 35 on a recent walk:

I am drawing a blank here.... Is this an Arista film? I thought I'd tried most of the mainstream ASA 100 B&W films out there but suddenly I am not recalling this one.

css9450: I don't know for sure. Many of the opinions I have read lean toward UFX100 being rebranded Kentmere 100. It seems reasonable, having shot both. It is inexpensive (cheaper than Kentmere), dries flat, and scans well. I have had no emulsion flaws like I had with Arista EDU 100. I initially purchased a few rolls to check the functionality of cameras I was working on, with little regard for quality. I discovered that I actually like the film. I am now on my second bulk roll, and it is all I have been shooting for my blog, at least in 35mm B&W. I haven't tried any of the other formats or speeds yet, but likely will.
These were from a test roll developed in Rodinal, and a bit too grainy for my taste. D-76 is my usual soup.

It's a nice modern looking "cheap" film. I prefer the classic look of Fomapan for my "cheap" film, but it's nice to have the choice. It's a good film.

I think is closer to Kentmere emulsion than Arista. Package is something like Ilford/Harman. I've tested both of them and Arista/Foma seems different. Kentmere is not made on 120 but I think emulsion is very similar. It was sold by Photo warehouse but it has been unavailable for months.
