Ultrafine Xtreme Black & White Film ISO 400

Photo Warehouse only has 12-exposure pre-loaded cassettes left in stock. I'm getting the sinking feeling that this will be discontinued... :(

quite pleasant color to my eyes;

however with shortage supply of Ultrafine Xtreme 400 films at the moment, I don't know if one should burn films this way.

Just my 2c, no offense of course.

Thank you and no offence taken, you're probably right. :) I only have one bulk roll of this film left in the freezer and since I'm not sure it's coming back in stock, I plan to save it. I have some Kentmere 400 that I'll try next. If you can believe some of the rumors, it may or may not be the same film. Based on this side-by-side comparison it does look very similar, but I'm going to find out for myself whether I can tell the difference.

Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Ultrafine eXtreme 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes. Three individual black and white frames shot through Tiffen #25 Red, #58 Green, and #47 Blue filters, respectively, then combined using GIMP to create a trichrome color image.

Really interested the process of making the trichrome color color image using GIMP. Could you share some of your steps? Thanks.
