If they'll not update the 28mm ultron with an alternative that is as fast, I expect used prices to go up a lot.

what kind of problems are you having with them?
the advantage of LTM lenses are sizable:
1) ability to use modern lenses on older LTM cameras
2) ability to easily bar code the lens for the M8. This also makes interchanging bar coded adapters between lenses quite feasible. Many people report this easier and more practical than trying to bar code M lenses yourself.

I've never found the adapters a problem, but I have found screw mounts in general a pain, there has been more than one occasion when lucky fielding on my part has avoided a smashed lens, such as when focussing close with a stiff Pentax thread lens I was actually unscrewing it from the camera!!!

My only issue with LTM-M adapters is that the original rear caps for all these old lenses I buy can't be used anymore. Having a digital sensor and being more than a little cack-handed I'm not keen on just mounting a single adapter on the camera, prefer to have 1 per lens (or group of lenses...)
If this move away from LTM carries on I'm going to have an excuse to buy another Bessa T 🙂

Bummer. I enjoy having a choice of bodies and lenses. Actually, I wish ALL my lenses were LTM. That way I could go BOTH ways! I knew I shoulda bought that limited edition 50mm Summicron in LTM.

Its no big deal, just extra faff when swapping lenses...
Does the discontinuation of all these CV lenses recently make you wonder and think about buying new ones? I wonder what may come in place of the 35 Ultron. Maybe a little smaller, M mount, closer focus, I may be in for it. I have both 28s, I would be hard pressed to replace either, they both are better than I am.

Am certainly considering swapping the 35 Nokton for the Ultron, Nokton is just way too big. Might end up with a pre-asph Summilux instead though...

I have the 50mm Color Skopar and really like it. Light weight and sharp. Pity that future Bessa buyers won't have this option available to them.

On the other hand I just love the look and feel of my nokton 40/1.4 and it seems like the 21/4 and the 25/4 are equal to the nokton.

With the M8's crop factor, what I would like to see is CV trumping Leica & Zeiss by introducing a 28/1.4 Nokton (like their 35/1.2). That would fill a definite gap in the current M-mount world.
