Ultron 28mm V2?

Hi

I have been told my someone offering to buy my CV 28/2 M-mount that my lens is a V1 and there is a V2 with improved optics. I don't recall that they made a V2 of this lens. I have searched the internet and even cameraquest but there is no info.

Just confirming with you guys before I get back to the gentleman making an offer for my lens.

I thought the f2 was the improved version (over the f1.9).

BTW, I have the f2 and like it a lot.

Gandy's site would have all the information you need about current CV lenses. If it's not in CameraQuest... then it's not anywhere.

Thanks a lot. I sent Stephen an email and he confirmed that there is only one F2 version. The other party sounded very convinced there was a v1 and v2 so I did some research and fact-checking before getting back to him.

I use the 28mm on my M8 and I like it a lot. One thing about the lens that doesn't get as much press is how it is quite comfortable to use. I find that the focusing tab makes is a pleasure to use (compared to my ZM 25).

Hi - for the F2.0 there are two body types - the tabbed focus and non-tabbed barrel. Does anyone know if there is an optical difference between the two?
I think non-tab is older.

When I purchased mine new in August the Store owner told me it was a Version 2. Im not sure if that helps. He said there was an older version.
